question

What better exemplifies the love of Jesus? Driving your 17 year old neighbor to the market knowing he'll probably buy a cigar, or even ask you to buy a cigar for his "uncle". Or, refusing to give him a ride altogether. Or, is there other options?

I can tell you what I've done in the past, but I would love to hear your thoughts on the issue.

  1. Jesus didn't have a car.

All kidding aside, I believe Jesus would have chosen to not be an accomplice to breaking a law, unless the law was causing someone to sin (i.e. a law against following Christ, etc...).

That being said, is the current law such that minors are prohibited from using tobacco, or simply from purchasing it?

  2. Very good question. I do believe just from purchasing it. I think the law states that a minor can partake with parental consent in the own home (at least I think that's how it is for alcohol).

I think I agree with you Kris.
